Dr. John Harvey is originally from Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.  He attended Williams College for his undergraduate degree and the University of Pennsylvania for medical school.  He moved to California in 1992 for his residency at Childrens Hospital Oakland, and subsequently joined Tamalpais Pediatrics in Marin County.  Outside of pediatrics, he is a gardening and Jack Russell enthusiast.
